April 01, 2026 Happy Wednesday Acknowledging The scarifice of Jesus Christ Several people have expressed to me their desired to do nothing on Easter Sunday! The number of people have surprised me. I always asked them why! Why do do nothing and the response is.......... its a pagan day! There is nothing to celebrate. Many believe it is pointless. Happy Easter! The name of Easter comes from people who wanted to celebrate Christ; but it is mixed with the wrong things. It is like serving God and the devil. This is true in our culture. It is not pure or completely dedicated to Christ. It doesn't line up with the Jewish year but it is set apart in our American culture. Secondly Easter has been commercialized. It is a day for chocolate and bunnies and that definitely does not represent a biblical Easter. But it id eggs and candy. Is those things bad. No, but the focus is on the wrong things.
