Good morning
The Word
Lord thank you for the word.
It is a light unto my feet.
It is health to my flesh.
It is a healing agent.
It is a door way leading to understanding.
It is the truth.
It is beautiful.
It is filled with goodness.
It is your word.
It is powerful
It is filled with wisdom
It can make a young man do right.
It can saved the hard man.
Psalms 35
PSALM 35
David seeks help from God.
A Psalm of David.
Contend, O Lord, with those who contend with me;
Fight against those who fight against me.
Take hold of shield and buckler (small shield),
And stand up for my help.
Draw also the spear and javelin to meet those who pursue me.
Say to my soul, “I am your salvation.”
Let those be ashamed and dishonored who seek my life;
Let those be turned back [in defeat] and humiliated who plot evil against me.
Let them be [blown away] like chaff before the wind [worthless, without substance],
With the angel of the Lord driving them on.
Let their way be dark and slippery,
With the angel of the Lord pursuing and harassing them.
For without cause they hid their net for me;
Without cause they dug a pit [of destruction] for my life.
Let destruction come upon my enemy by surprise;
Let the net he hid for me catch him;
Into that very destruction let him fall.
Then my soul shall rejoice in the Lord;
It shall rejoice in His salvation.
All my bones will say, “Lord, who is like You,
Who rescues the afflicted from him who is too strong for him [to resist alone],
And the afflicted and the needy from him who robs him?”
Malicious witnesses rise up;
They ask me of things that I do not know.
They repay me evil for good,
To the sorrow of my soul.
But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth (mourning garment);
I humbled my soul with fasting,
And I prayed with my head bowed on my chest.
I behaved as if grieving for my friend or my brother;
I bowed down in mourning, as one who sorrows for his mother.
But in my stumbling they rejoiced and gathered together [against me];
The slanderers whom I did not know gathered against me;
They slandered and reviled me without ceasing.
Like godless jesters at a feast,
They gnashed at me with their teeth [in malice].
Lord, how long will You look on [without action]?
Rescue my life from their destructions,
My only life from the young lions.
I will give You thanks in the great congregation;
I will praise You among a mighty people.
Do not let those who are wrongfully my enemies rejoice over me;
Nor let those who hate me without cause wink their eye [maliciously].
For they do not speak peace,
But they devise deceitful words [half-truths and lies] against those who are quiet in the land.
They open their mouths wide against me;
They say, “Aha, aha, our eyes have seen it!”
You have seen this, O Lord; do not keep silent.
O Lord, do not be far from me.
Wake Yourself up, and arise to my right
And to my cause, my God and my Lord.
Judge me, O Lord my God, according to Your righteousness and justice;
And do not let them rejoice over me.
Do not let them say in their heart, “Aha, that is what we wanted!”
Do not let them say, “We have swallowed him up and destroyed him.”
Let those be ashamed and humiliated together who rejoice at my distress;
Let those be clothed with shame and dishonor who magnify themselves over me.
Let them shout for joy and rejoice, who favor my vindication and want what is right for me;
Let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, who delights and takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”
And my tongue shall declare Your righteousness (justice),
And Your praise all the day long.
The Conflict!
Win the Battle and Win the War
There is always conflict between the real saved people and the counterfeit people. David has to deal with it and so will we. It is similar
to the wheat and tares. We are all together but not all of us are from God. The devil has people who strive against and block the path of people getting to know God. They have no desire for people to be saved. Their agenda is to point everything that's wrong.They find fault. They block healing. They block unity. They set traps. Jesus not only experienced this conflict but he exposes it. He never points them out or accuses them but he does good and he lets them do bad and we get to decide on what we believe. These type of people will always conflict with our values.

Matthew chapter 11
WHEN JESUS had finished His charge to His twelve disciples, He left there to teach and to preach in their [Galilean] cities.
John the Baptist
Now when John in prison heard about the activities of Christ, he sent a message by his disciples
3 And asked Him, Are You the One Who was to come, or should we keep on expecting a different one? [Gen. 49:10; Num. 24:17.]
And Jesus replied to them, Go and report to John what you hear and see:
The blind receive their sight and the lame walk, lepers are cleansed (by healing) and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up and the poor have good news (the Gospel) preached to them. [Isa. 35:5, 6; 61:1.]
And blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) is he who takes no offense at Me and finds no cause for stumbling in or through Me and not hindered from seeing the Truth.
Then as these men went their way, Jesus began to speak to the crowds about John: What did you go out in the wilderness (desert) to see? A reed swayed by the wind?
What did you go out to see then? A man clothed in soft garments? Behold, those who wear soft clothing are in the houses of kings.
But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and one [out of the common, more eminent, more remarkable, and] superior to a prophet.
This is the one of whom it is written, Behold, I send My messenger ahead of You, who shall make ready Your way before You. [Mal. 3:1.]
Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [as a precious prize–a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion].
For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied up until John.
And if you are willing to receive and accept it, John himself is Elijah who was to come [before the kingdom]. [Mal. 4:5.]
He who has ears to hear, let him be listening and let him consider and perceive and comprehend by hearing.
But to what shall I liken this generation? It is like little children sitting in the marketplaces who call to their playmates,
We piped to you [playing wedding], and you did not dance; we wailed dirges [playing funeral], and you did not mourn and beat your breasts and weep aloud.
For John came neither eating nor drinking [with others], and they say, He has a demon!
The Son of Man came eating and drinking [with others], and they say, Behold, a glutton and a wine drinker, a friend of tax collectors and[especially wicked] sinners! Yet wisdom is justified and vindicated by what she does (her deeds) and by her children.
Then He began to censure and reproach the cities in which most of His mighty works had been performed, because they did not repent [and their hearts were not changed].
Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would long ago have repented in sackcloth and ashes [and their hearts would have been changed].
I tell you [further], it shall be more endurable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you.
And you, Capernaum, are you to be lifted up to heaven? You shall be brought down to Hades [the region of the dead]! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have continued until today.
But I tell you, it shall be more endurable for the land of Sodom on the day of judgment than for you.
At that time Jesus began to say, I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth [and I acknowledge openly and joyfully to Your honor], that You have hidden these things from the wise and clever and learned, and revealed them to babies [to the childish, untaught, and unskilled].
Yes, Father, [I praise You that] such was Your gracious will and good pleasure.
All things have been entrusted and delivered to Me by My Father; and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Son except the Father, and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son deliberately wills to make Him known.
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and over burdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]
Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. [Jer. 6:16.]
For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good–not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne.
Have an awesome day!
