Good morning,

Psalms 36
Amplified Version

To the Chief Musician. [ A Psalm] of David
A servant of the Lord

David Speaks of the Wicked

Transgression [like an oracle] speaks to the wicked deep in his heart. There is not fear of dread of God before his eyes.

For he flatters and deceives himself in his own eyes that his iniquity will not be found out and be hated.

The words of his mouth are wrong and deceitful; he has ceased to be wise and to do good.

He plans wrongdoing on his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he does not reject or despise evil.

Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, extend to the skies, and your faithfulness to the clouds.

Your righteousness is like the mountains of God, Your judgments are like the great deep.

O Lord, you preserve man and beast.

How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children take refuge and put their trust under the shadow of your wings.

They relish and feast on the abundance of your house; and you cause them to drink of the stream of your pleasures.

For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light.

O' continue your loving-kindness to those who know you, your righteousness (salvation) to the upright in heart.

Let not the foot of pride overtake me, and let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.

There the workers of iniquity fall and lie prostrate; they are thrust down and shall not be able to rise.

SOMETHING UNIQUE TO RESEARCH AND THINK ABOUT. I THOUGHT IT WAS VERY UNIQUE TO CROSS REFERENCE THE BOOK OF MATTHEW WITH REVELATIONS TO VERY DIFFERENT BOOKS.

Matthew 12

At that particular time Jesus went through the fields of standing grain on the Sabbath; and his disciples were hungry, and they began to pick off the spikes of grain to eat.

And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to him, see there! Your disciples are doing what is unlawful and not permitted on the Sabbath.

(God overrules laws because he is God.)

He said to them, Have you not even read what David did when he was hungry, and those who accompanied him.

How he went into the house of God and ate the loaves of the show bread--which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for the men who accompanied him, but for the priests only?

But I tell you, something greater and more exalted and more majestic than the temple is here!

And if you had only know what this saying means, I desire mercy [readiness to help, to spare, to forgive] rather than sacrifice and sacrificial victims, you would not have condemned the guiltless.

For the son of man is Lord [even] of the Sabbath.

And going on from there he went into their synagogue.

And behold, a man was there with one withered hand, And they said to him, Is it lawful or allowable to cure people on the Sabbath days? that they might accuse him.

But he said to them, What man is there among you, if he has only one sheep and it falls into a pit or ditch on the Sabbath, will not he take hold of it and lift it out?

How much better and of more value is a man than a sheep! So it is lawful and allowable to do good on the Sabbath days.

(Jesus saw a man in need. However the Pharisees believed the sabbath was only for worship and rest. However them saying it was not because they cared about the rules but it was because they wanted to accuse him. They wanted to find something wrong with him. But God says its okay to do good on the Sabbath.

This passage reveals God's love for people. He is greater than the Sabbath!)

The Temple Rulers vs. A God who loves people

Then he said to the man, Reach out your hand. And he man reached it out and it restored, as sound as the other one.

But the Pharisees went out and held a consultation against him, how they might do away with him.

But being aware of this, Jesus went away from there. And many people joined and accompanied him, and he cured all of them.

And strictly charged them and sharply warned them not make him publicly known.

This was in fulfillment of what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah.

Behold, My servant whom I have chosen, My beloved in and with whom my soul is well pleased and has found its delight. I will pour my spirit upon him, and he shall proclaim and show forth justice to the nations.

He will not strive or wrangle or cry out loudly; nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets;

A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering (dimly burning) wick he will not quench , till he brings justice and a just cause to victory.

And in and on his name will the gentiles (the peoples outside of Israel) set their hopes.

(God's focus is on the people
the pharisees focus is on their own selfish desires.)
I know the Lord loves the building but when people need help he is not concern for the building he is going to HELP, AID, AND RESCUE THE PEOPLE.

This conflict is going to spark the Pharisees to begin to plot against Jesus. There dislike for the Lord helping people is growing as he does good and God is constantly letting them know he cares about his people. A building can be rebuilt it does not have feelings and when the earth fades it will fade too. But suffering humans beings is of greater importance. So because of this the spirit of the enemy will take hold of them because of their unwillingness to accept God. Sadly they did  whatever was necessary to stop Jesus.)

Then a blind and and dumb man under the power of a demon was brought to Jesus, and He cured him, so that the blind and dumb man both spoke and saw.

And all the crowds of people were stunned with bewilderment wonder and said, This cannot be the Son of David, can it?

(David was a good man. He received great respect from the people but Jesus was greater than just the son of David)  (He was the son of God. But the people were saying who is this person? Where did he come from? Is he the son of David? Even today we decide who he is to us.)

But the Pharisees, hearing it, said, This man drives out demons only by and with the help of Beelzebub, the prince of demons.

(The 1st attempt to confuse people; they do not have a clue who Jesus is but they know he is healing people. Sometimes sheep can be tricked but God is smarter and greater than that)

And knowing their thoughts, He said to them, Any Kingdom that is divided against itself is being brought to desolation and laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will last or continue to stand.

And if Satan drives out Satan, He has become divided against himself and dis-unified; how then will his kingdom last or continue stand?

And if I drive out demons by [help of] Beelzebub, by whose help do your sons drive them out? For this reason they shall be your judges.

But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out the demons, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you.

Or how can a person go into a strong mans house and carry off his goods (the entire equipment of his house) without first binding the strong man? Then he may plunder his house.

He who is not with me [definitely on my side] is against me, and he who does not [definitely] gather with me and for my side scatters.

Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy (every evil, abusive, injurious speaking or indignity against sacred things) can be forgiven of men, but blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not and cannot be forgiven.

And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Spirit, the Holy One, will not be forgiven, either in this world and age or the world and age to come.

Either make the tree sound (healthy and good), and its fruit sound (healthy and good). or make the tree rotten (diseased and bad), and its fruit rotten (diseased and bad); for the tree is known and recognized and judged by its fruit.

You offspring of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil (wicked) For out of the fullness, (the overflow or the superabundance ) of the heart the mouth speaks.

The good man from his inner good treasure flings forth good things, and the evil man out of his inner evil storehouse flings forth evil things.

But I tell you, on the day of judgement men will have to give an account for every idle (inoperative, non working) word they speak.

For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced.

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to him, Teacher, we desire to see a sign or miracle from you [proving that you are what you claim to be].

But he replied to them, an evil and adulterous generation (a generation morally unfaithful to God) seeks and demands a sign; but no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.

For even as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the sea monster, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

The men of Nineveh will stand up and the judgement with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, Someone more and greater than Jonah is here!

  1. His teachings were morally correct
  2. He heal the sick
  3. The blind received their sight
  4. the lamed walked
  5. He did great works
  6. He was better than mankind
  7. there was lots of signs
  8. the last thing would be the resurrection
(But some were still unyielding and repenting. They refuse to accept that he was who he said his was. The things he did was impossible with man. How do you know when a man is forgiven by God? We know by the change in his life. He is freed from his or her sin debt. It is the same thing today who is Jesus to you?)
Did he really heal that person?
Did he really provide?

The queen of the South will stand up in he Judgement with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, someone more and greater than Solomon is here.

But when the unclean spirit has gone out of a man, it roams through dry [arid] places in search of rest, but it does not find any.

Then it says, I will go back to my house from which I came out, and when it arrives, it finds the place unoccupied, swept, put in order, and decorated.

Then it brings with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and make their home there. And the last condition of that man becomes worse than the first. So also shall it be with this wicked generation.

Jesus was still speaking to the people when behold, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking to speak to him.

Some said to him, Listen! Your mother and your brother are standing outside, seeking to speak to you.

But he replied to the man who told him, Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?

And stretching out his hands toward [not only the twelve disciples but all] His adherents, He said, here are my mothers and my brothers.

Jesus vs. His Mother and Brothers
The people win again

(Once again Jesus puts the people first. I guess the pharisees should not have been upset he made his mother and brothers wait untill he was finish with the people.)

For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother!

The Lastest Updates
(as of Saturday at 3:00 p.m)
It is so nice to see all of the young people following the instructions of the governor as well as the city officials. I also hear lots of young people who say they have faith in God and they are not in need of a mask or gloves. I know that they are strong and God will honor their faith but when we all do what is asked of us it is right and it is pleasing to the Lord and it is helpful to city. Lastly by wearing it we are role models to the younger kids. I try to take extra gloves and masks with me when I go out because not every one has extra money to purchase the medical gear. If you have extra ask someone who doesn't have any if you can share with them.
