PSALMS 98
A Psalm.
O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvelous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
The Lord hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly showed in the sight of the heathen.
He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.
With trumpets and the sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.
Let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together
Before the Lord; for he come to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.
Revelation
(Unlike the gospels with eye witness accounts revelations is God revealing something. If it has to revealed it must be covered. Maybe its not visible to our eyes or it's in another world. He saw things. It was not actual things happening in that moment but they can happen because God is telling him unveiling events to him. When I think back to the gospels Jesus had a specific way he taught and acted; his word to the disciples was teachings in the form of a parable. It was things they didn't always understand. I know lots of books that have interpreted the book of revelations. I simply like to read and make connections.
A book title is like a horn.
It is loud and clear.
It is loud and clear.
A book should not be judge by its cover but we can learn a lot from its title. A title serves the purpose of an introduction and sometimes it provides a short cut to understanding the subject matter.
Time is Debatable in revelations (time) the word is being revealed but is it happening now, in the future, or has it past.
In the psalms it says one year is = to 1 day to God.
His time and our time is different.
I like to cross reference scriptures with other scriptures, it is the best way to avoid interpreting. Interpreting is saying I know what it means. Cross referencing is letting the bible define what it means. There's images that have meaning and I bet other scriptures help to determine what is meant.
