Psalms 116

I love the Lord, he heard my voice;
he heard my cry for mercy.
Because he turned his ear to me,
the anguish of the grave came over me;
I was overcome by distress and sorrow.
Then I called on  the name of the Lord;
Lord, save me!

(I do not have any business or personal association with the owners of the video. I do not own the rights to this video. As a fan I love the song and it really captures the tone of the Psalms).

The Lord is gracious and righteous,
our God is full of compassion.
The Lord protects the unwary;
when I was brought low, he saved me.

Return to rest, my soul, for the Lord has been good
to you.
( I love how he speaks to his soul).
For you, Lord, have delivered me from death,
my eyes from tears,
my feet from stumbling,
that I may walk before the Lord
in the land of the living.

I trusted in the Lord when I said,
"I am greatly afflicted"
in my alarm I said,
"Everyone is a liar"

What shall I return to the Lord
for all his goodness to me?
I will lift up the cup of salvation
and call on the name of the Lord.
I will fulfill my vows to the Lord.
in the presence of all his people.

Precious in the sight of the Lord
is the death of his faithful servants.
Truly I am your servant, Lord;
I serve you just as my mother did;
you have freed me from my chains.

I will sacrifice a thank offering to you
and call on the name of the Lord.
I will fulfill my vows to the Lord
in the presence of all his people.
In the courts of the house of the Lord--
in your midst, Jerusalem.

Praise the Lord.

Revelation 14 Continued
Harvesting the Earth and Trampling the Winepress

I looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one like the son of man with a crown of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand.

Then another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to him who sitting on the cloud. "Take you sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe. So he who was seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.

Another Angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a large sickle. Still another angel, who had charged of the fire, came from the altar and called in a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, "take your sharp sickle" and gather the clusters of grapes from the earth's vine, because its grapes are ripe.

The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great winepress of God's wrath. They were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the horses' bridles for a distance of 1,600 stadia.

In Chapter one Jesus stands among the lamp stands. He is described as having eyes like fire, feet like burnished bronze, His mouth is like a two-edge sword.

John sees anther image of Jesus Christ. In this image he is dressed in white.

He is King over all but there are different  time frame or maybe we could say seasons happening and depending on that season it determines his role.

When John sees him at the throne he is the lamb; and he is worthy to open the seals.

His image as the Lamb could also represent his innocent; the fact that as these seals are being opened people are going to suffer and he is not at fault. He is the Lamb that was slain, he came to saved the world but some have rejected him.

He is also seen with the great multitude. They are dressed in white with palm branches in their hands. He is the risen savior.

In this passage he is on the cloud and the great harvest is happening and he has crowns.

Cross References..

Matthew 17:5

"While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!

Matthew 24:30

"Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in  heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power, and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

The four winds is something that relates to atmospheric pressure; I am not very knowledgeable about it but I understand  pressure and gravity; it does have a lot to wind and balance on the earth. (liken to gravity) without gravity we float away, for example the moon does not have gravity. The air does not have oxygen in it.

Mk 8:31

He then began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the Law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again. He spoke plainly about this, and Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him.

Da 7:13

In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into the presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not  pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.

As I read and study God has showed me real signs. Not to long ago, I was reading about falling stars. In the book of revelations there are lots of imagery and stars represent angels. When they fall to the earth it is so fast. They are so fast our eyes just see flashes like lightening. When I read I like to sit near an open patio. One night I witness flashing light like lightening.. It would shoot back and forth and it was so pretty.

I did not take a picture of the lightening but I did get a picture of some very thick beautiful clouds. They were so thick and pretty it caught my attention. As I stared for a few minutes it begin to looked as if they were moving towards me but after a while it was just the effect it was having on me. This passage really made me think of the clouds and the beauty in the sky.

Mt 13:30, 40-42

Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.

40-42

As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. The son of man will send out his angels, and they will weed out his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.

Mt 18:8

If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or cripple than to have two  hands and two feet and be thrown into eternal fire.

HAVE A GREAT DAY!
