Happy Tuesday

Protection of Personal Property

God protect us from scammers, storm damages, destructive people, and things we cannot see.

New Testament:

One New Commandment (Jesus); Love your neighbor as you love yourself; do unto others as you have them do to you. If you dislike it being done to you; how do you think others feel when  you do it to them. We all share a human nature. Pain is common to us al because we share experiences. We know the things that hurt and we should never do evil on purpose to others especially knowing that we would not want it done to us.

The Children of Israel received these laws in the desert. Jesus taught and fulfilled the law to his disciples but all of it pertain to God's people being fair one to another. Or dealing justly with one another. There is no condemnation to the guilty party but there is a requirement.

If a man steals an ox or sheep and slaughters it or sells it, he must pay back five heads of cattle for the ox and for sheep for the one sheep.

If a thief is caught breaking in and struck so that he dies the defender is not guilty of bloodshed; but if it happens after sunrise, he is guilty of bloodshed.

A thief must certainly make restitution; but he has nothings, he must be sold to pay for his theft.

If the stolen animal is found alive in his possession- whether ox or donkey or sheep-he must pay back double.

Exodus 22: 27

"When he cries out to me, I will hear for I am compassionate."

Have a great Day!
