117 O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.

2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. 

Praise ye the Lord.

 HIS TRUTH ENDURES:

to bear without resistance or with patience; tolerate:

It doesn't resist the lies. But it just stands. With patience it tolerates lies. The truth does not need to fight. It just is.
