 Happy Wednesday!

The kingdom of God

I'm not a preacher but I love to share encouraging words. Is it okay if I do? Before I begin ......I am growing. I have not obtain any type of perfection but I let God show me things that I need him to work on in me. He encourages me and I like sharing good words.

There are times we spend time trying to fix things that can't be fix. Some relationships you are waiting on God to fix may not be fixable. We are trying to get someone to see the light but they enjoy darkness. We desire that all be saved but the reality is the times is showing that everyone is not going where you are going. If it's been over 10 years and you waiting on God to fix a person. That person does not want the good plan you want. Or they don't share your vision. That's why it's so HARD. Pour into people that are with you. Leave people alone that are always in opposition to good things. Why spend life trying to convince those who don't like you. Let them go. Give them to God. Bless them if they need you but let them do what they think is best.

There is a post circulating on social media that says; God forgives but the person don't. It was another post that said if you cross certain people or get on their bad side they would be your worst nightmare and destroy your life. And here we are today. Some people are unapologetically ruthless. What's even more dangerous is when people get ideas in their minds or think someone is their enemy they are on attack; but Jesus said love your ENEMIES. I don't think he means to excuse them or deny truth. He is saying vengeance belongs to God. Give God the place to deal with people. Judah betrayed Jesus. Jesus did not not respond by attacking Judas. He told him truth. He said, "Friend, you betray me with a kiss." Jesus suffered and died but he let Judas be the bad person he was. Judas was haunted for life. He was tormented by the evil spirits he served. They talk to him. Those spirits lived with him. Not the Holy Spirit. He was tormented by dark spirits that drove him crazy. He had hurt an innocent man. He could not even enjoy his silver; the money he made from lying. He eventually kills himself. It was not by the hands of Jesus. If you attack your enemies or those you believe have wrong you then you are guilty. Your relationship with God changes. Real gain is having faith in God concerning our enemies or people who are definitely tough and lack love. Let them create their own issues because they sowed evil. You can only reap what you sowed. If you sow to the flesh. Or to your spiritual growth.

There are even cartoons that seem innocent but they are far from what God wants.

We they laugh about hate it's time to change your buddies. If you have Jesus you have peace. God will not let someone just get away with anything and we are not the judge. But it's in God's hands to deal with people. If they are wrong and you do wrong. Both are wrong. Gods purpose is to keep you pure from being wrong. Don't become ruthless and ungodly. If you do what your enemy do you are just like them. It's not popular but if you turn the other cheek (it is really hard) it's not fun. But if you turn the other cheek you put yourself above the hate. There is a blessing in it. But people will call you weak because in today's world. You have to fight. Fighting is your strength but in the bible we are given the task of doing what God tells you to do.

2 Timothy 3

New International Version

3 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7 always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. 9 But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.

A Final Charge to Timothy

10 You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, 11 persecutions, sufferings—what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. 12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13 while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, 15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Timothy 3:17

Have a beautiful day!
