 Words

Happy Monday!

When you hear encouragement it does unique things to your brain. And this causes a very positive effect on everything around you.

Here is an excerpt from a very interesting blog. "https://blog.idonethis.com/the-science-of-motivation-your-brain-on-dopamine/"

"Dopamine has a biological connection to our motivation to achieve. You can increase your dopamine levels via positive feedback (which happens by tracking incremental progress). You can also spur your capacity to accomplish tasks by building healthful habits."

To hate means thinking and focusing on the wrong things a person has done. I believe God desires better mental health for us. He goes on to say, Love your enemies and please be aware of how you think about that person. Negative people and their words like to take root in your life. Those things can play over and in the mind. He says to pray for your persecutors and it is a protecting force for your mind. When people intentional hurt people its harsh. It is not pleasant. But there is an escape.

 Love for Enemies

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Have a great day!
