 Happy New Year!

Happy Birthday to those who celebrate your birthday in January. 

My birthday is January 05, 2025. I will be thanking God for 43 years on Sunday! 

I am happy to get older. I will never complain about being old. In today's world a lot of people are not getting the pleasure of getting old. Every year we celebrate our birthdays it is a happy and special day! 

I pray that your year is filled with wisdom, knowledge, divine protection, and joy. Last year the focus of this blog post was words. I filled the blog with the words of God, inspirational words, and happy words that to show the power of how words can make us feel things. We can build up with our words and words definitely can tear a person down. 

This year I am going to focus on forgiveness. I want to begin with forgiveness as God gives it. The son of man has the power to forgive our sins. We need forgiveness. Every person on the face of the earth needs forgiveness. This year lets look at forgiveness through the bible, and other written resources.

What is forgiveness?

Forgiveness is the act of intentionally letting go of anger and resentment towards someone who has harmed you

Definition

• Forgiveness is a conscious decision to change your feelings and attitudes towards someone who has wronged you. It involves more than just accepting what happened or stopping being angry.

What happens when God forgives us? Why is it beautiful? It is a blessing?

We always hear people say receive your forgiveness but I want to say that God puts it in your heart and you will know when you have RECIEVED forgiveness. When God has forgiven you it is powerful.
