Who Scares You!

Fear is a feeling induced by perceived danger or threat that occurs in certain types of organisms, which causes a change in metabolic and organ functions and ultimately a change in behavior, such as fleeing, hiding, or freezing from perceived traumatic events.

In the movies ever wonder why the boogie man lurks around in the dark. He never comes in the light. If he was so tough he should be able to get the person in the light; or at any time; why do they always pick dark times. A good  enemy wants you to think he is bigger than he really is. Sometimes we are standing in shadows confuse?

Have you ever had someone stare you down!
Or give you a mean mugging look!
Ever had someone jump out of a dark corner to scare you!
Shame on them but that's the goal of the enemy: to invoke fear.
It is all sent to weaken the person.

Website (Psychology Today)
" fear is a vital response to physical and emotional danger — if we didn't feel it, we couldn't protect ourselves from legitimate threats. But often we fear situations that are far from life-or-death, and thus hang back for no good reason. Bad experiences can trigger a fear response within us that is hard to quell. Yet exposing ourselves to our personal demons is the best way to move past them"
