Chapter 8

After getting rid of the devoted things taken from Jericho; things are better for Israel. God tells Joshua to go into the City of AI and take it. He told him to do unto it as they did with Jericho. Joshua's plan is to enter into front while others enter through the back. When the people of AI noticed them of course they will turn to chase them because they will pretend to flee causing them to believe they are afraid then those from the backside can set fire. Of course things go according to the plan. God told them it would. The people of AI found themselves trapped.

1. This time God gives the spoils.
2. Twelve thousand people lived in AI
3. Joshua built an alter and offered scarifices to God.
4. The Levites the priest read the blessings over Israel.

We need people around us who bless us. I see a connection between God being please with them and things going well for them. I hope this year you find a church who blesses you.

I hope you find joy in reading the Bible  I know everyday I do. It's one way to take care of your soul. Brush your teeth wash your face is for the outer man but the inward soul needs help and reading the Bible is aid and care. A church cannot give that to you. It's personal.

When I read the Bible I see clearly.
When I read the Bible I am changing.
When I read the Bible I am having faith
When I read the Bible I fellowship with God.
When I read the Bible I seek to know God
When I read the Bible I desire application of it in my life.
