Psalms 24

The earth is the Lord's
and the fullness there of,
the world and those who dwell therein, for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers.

Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his Holy place?

He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false, and does not swear deceitfully.

He will receive blessings from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Such is the generation those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. Selah.

Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.

Who is the king of glory?

The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle!

Lift up your heads, O gates! And Lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.

Who is this king of glory?

The Lord of hosts, he is the king of glory, Selah.

What beautiful praises!

How great is Lord!
His splendor and majesty sings to earth.
His love reaches into the depths of the earth.
Life is his to give.
His instructions leads to his beautiful promises.
His promises are sure and true.
When the King calls answer quickly.

Matthew Chapter 2 1-7

1. Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the King, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem,
2. Saying, "where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose in the east and have come to worship him."
3. When Herod the King heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him;
4. And assembling all the chief priests and scribles of the people, he instructed of them where the Christ was to be born.
5. They told him, "In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet:
6. And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for from you shall come a ruler who will sheperd my people Isreal."
