Herod's Death

Then Herod went from Judea to Caesarea and stayed there. He had been quarreling with the people of Tyre and Sidon; they now joined together and sought an audience with him. After securing the support of Blastus, a trusted personal servant of the King, they asked for peace, because they depended on the King's country for their food supply.

On the appointed day Herod, wearing his royal robes, sat on his throne and delivered a public address to the people. They shouted. "This is the voice of a god, not of a man. Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died. 

But the word of God continued to spread and flourish. 

Don't believe in me, don't believe in my family but believe in God. We are so flawed but we have a love for God and a love for his word even when it's a struggle to walk it out. 

I write for his purpose only if it was about me, selfies would be everywhere.....the moral of my thoughts is...please don't look at me and I hope I decrease so he can increase and if you see too much of me something is wrong. Stop paying me too much attention. I dont want it and dont need it. We have too find our focus...Jesus...I'm just a writer and any good things I've done he has empowered me to do it. All the bad is me and I promise you he works on me daily. There is nothing unseen to his eye. 

He who shares the glory of God is my friend. If we focus on people we fail to see the light. We see the one holding the candle and he is flawed but if you see the light you become blind in a good way to people who hold his candle.

Proverbs 1

Wisdom's Rebuke 

Out in the open wisdom calls aloud, 

she raises her voice in the public square;

on top of the wall she cries out, 

at the city gate she makes her speech:

How long will you who are simple love your simple ways?

How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?

Repent at my rebuke!

Then I will pour out my thoughts to you, 

I will make known to you my teachings. 

But since you refuse to listen when I call not one pays attention when I stretch out my hand, 

since you disregard all my advice

and do not accept my rebuke,

I in turn will laugh when disaster strikes you;

I will mock when calamity overtakes you-

when calamity overtakes you like a storm, 

when disaster sweeps over you like a whirl wind, 

when distress and trouble overwhelm you. 

Then they will call tome but I will not answer;

they will look for me but will not find me, 

since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the Lord. 

Since they would not accept my advice and spurned my rebuke, 

they will eat the fruit of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes. 

For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, 

and the complacency of fools will destroy them; 

but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease without fear of harm. 

Wisdom is looking for us

People pay lots of money for the advice from successful people and that is a good investment but wisdom is free of charge and it comes from the mouth of God.

their is a danger for not listening to wisdom. It is calamity and disaster.
