Topic: Prayer and Praise

Prayer is our personal Daily communing with God.

We Praise God because he allowed us to make it through 2020. My praise says I am grateful for health and direction throughout the year.

Thank you Lord. 

God reveals things to us during prayer. To inquire of the Lord. Ask God a question.  Ask him to reveal or show you. 

God revealed the future to Rebekah. 

Genesis 25:19–23

Isaac’s Sons

 Now these are the records of the generations of Isaac, Abraham’s son: Abraham became the father of Isaac; and Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah, the bdaughter of Bethuel the Aramean of Paddan-aram, the sister of Laban the Aramean, to be his wife. Isaac prayed to the Lord on behalf of his wife, because she was barren; and the Lord answered him and Rebekah his wife conceived. But the children struggled together within her; and she said, “If it is so, why then am I this way?” So she went to inquire of the Lord.

1. When something comes from God we think it will be easy

2. God already knew about their struggle

3. Rebekah wondered why is things this way

4. God answers her

 The Lord said to her,“Two nations are in your womb;

And two peoples will be separated from your body;

And one people shall be stronger than the other;

And the older shall serve the younger.”

Praise

There is so many things to be thankful for. As we can see God had great mercy on us and he allowed us to see another year. But it not just about seeing another year it is about seeing that he has a purpose for us on the earth. It is not our time to Go. This year we can spend that quality time with God. In his presence is joy, love, answers, direction, and strength. I want to focus on all of the benefits that come as a direct result of prayer as well as what happens when we pray.
