 Topic: Prayer and Praise

Elijah prays for rain

He believed that God would sent the rain.

What do you have the boldness to ask for God for?

If it serves his purpose than he will do it and glory be to God, I believe God will great your hearts request.

1 KI 18: 41-45

And Elijah said to Ahab, "Go and eat and drink, for there is the sound of rain from heaven. So Ahab went off to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face to his knees and look toward the sea, "he told his servant to go up. And he went up and looked. There is nothing there, he said. Seven times Elijah said, Go back.

The seventh time the servant reported, A cloud as small as a man's hand is rising from the sea. So Elijah said, "Go and tell Ahab, hitch up your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.

1. Elijah could see the rain

2. He could hear the rain

3. He had faith

The servant went 7 times. It was not immediate but he never gave up.

Don't confused what is good with what is evil. God never hurts people. God is forgiveness and He says vengeance is his. Judgement is his. Elijah is all about signs and wonders for the benefit of the people. He is the prophet who has the connection to God. Today Jesus Christ is our Elijah, in the sense that the people look to him for answers from God.

Have a great day!
