God is exalted in his power. Who is a teacher like him? Who has prescribed his ways for him, or said to him, 'You have done wrong? 

THE BURIAL OF JESUS

Later, Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of Jesus, but secretly because he feared the Jewish Leaders. With Pilates permission, he came and took the body away. He was accompanied by Nicodemus, the man who earlier had visited Jesus at night. 

Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy pounds. Taking Jesus body, the two of them wrapped it, with the spices, in strips of linen, This was in accordance with Jewish burial customs. At the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb, in which on one had ever been laid. Because it was the Jewish day of Preparation and since the tomb was nearby they laid Jesus there. 

He left this earth. His body was treated according to Jewish customs. Those who have gone on know exactly where he was but we are asked to believe. We know that if any man or woman believes on him they will be saved. It might look different for each of us but he promised to save us. It is not hard to believe his death and his burial but we have faith when we believe in his resurrection. God raised him from the dead. Enjoy your Saturday.
