 Topic: Prayer and Praise

Hello Tuesday

Ps 102:18

Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the Lord: The Lord looked down from his sanctuary on high, from heaven he viewed the earth, to hear the groans of the prisoners and release those condemned to death.

God looked down from his sanctuary. Most people know what a sanctuary is but for those that don't it is a sacred or holy place.

Judaism.

the Biblical tabernacle or the Temple in Jerusalem.

the holy of holies of these places of worship.

an especially holy place in a temple or church.

the part of a church around the altar; the chancel.

a church or other sacred place where fugitives were formerly entitled to immunity from arrest.

immunity afforded by refuge in such a place.

From this holy place or a sacred in heaven he looks down to hear the groans of prisoners. He seeks to release those condemned to death.

God hears the groans of prisoners who are imprison. The depths of his mercy is foreign to flesh. His thoughts and ways are not our ways.

TIFERET ISRAEL A TRADITIONAL SANCUARY

The earthly sanctuary is simply suppose to model what is in heaven. God gave us a model and an idea of his dwelling place. The psalms captures heaven, praise, and worship, and prayer to God. What do you think?

Ps 103:1

Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.

Ps 103:20

Praise the lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding who obey his word.
