 Topic: Prayer and Praise

The scriptures' change as we read about praise in the New Testament versus psalms. David seems to simply let praise flow but going forward the writers share the same goal but express it in different ways. 

For example:

Hebrews 13:15

Offering the Sacrifice of praise

Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise-the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. And do not forget to do good and share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. 

1. In this world his name is pushed away but he calls his to keep professing his name.
Jesus

2. In his world bad is honored but he says keep doing good. 

3. These sacrifices are pleasing to God. Not so much money, or a lamb, or goat, but the sacrifice of praise.
