God I thank you because you guide our every move even in trouble times. 

Jacob goes to Paddam Aram

1.He is fleeing his brother Esau who wants to kill him.

2. He has a dream of the stairway to heaven. 

In Paddam Aram Jacob meets an eastern people and there he sees Rachel and her Father tending the sheep. "Then Jacob kissed Rachel and began to weep aloud. He had told Rachel that he was a relative of her Father and a son of Rebekah. Then Laban said to him, "You are my own flesh and blood."
