In the hearts of certain men and women God awakens the will to serve their brothers and sisters who are in chains. These chosen individuals hear an urgent call that prompts them to give their lives to God's service. The call becomes their passion: they respond to it out of love for God and for humanity, even though they know that their calling might bring them suffering and even death.
