Protection of Personal Property continues

Today it is simplified for us: Do unto others as you would have them do to you (Jesus Christ)

Today: We have forgiveness in Christ Jesus

As you read the Old testament laws look at how they were required to make amends for their actions. There will always be consequences naturally and spiritually but we can ask for forgiveness before God and before any man or woman that you may have done wrong and seek MERCY. God can have mercy on anyone he chooses to have mercy on. Jesus had the power to forgive sins and release people from the penalty of the sin. Who is man that he should condemn you? Who is a woman that seeks to judge you? Forgiveness is real and it comes from God to anyone who ask or/repent. If you remember the first laws sometimes people died because they sinned. If you did certain things forget restitution sometimes it was death. So forgiveness is needed and it is real. We definitely do not need death around us but everyone wants life and life more abundantly. 

The Old Testament writes it out:

If a man gives a donkey, an ox, a sheep , or any other animal to his neighbor for safekeeping and it dies or is injured, or is taken while no one is looking, the issue between them will be settled by the taking of an oath before the Lord that the neighbor did not lay hands on the person's property. The owner is to accept this, and no restitution is required. But if the animal has was stolen from the neighbor, he must make restitution to the owner. If it was torn to pieces by a wild animal he shall bring in the remains  as evidence and he will  not be required to pay for the torn animal.
