The Three Annual Festivals

From God to Israel: Three times a year you are to celebrate a festival to me. 

Celebrate the feast of unleavened bread; for seven days let bread be made without yeast, I command you, do this at the appointed time in the month of Abib, for in that month you came out of Egypt. 

No one is to appear before me empty-handed.

Celebrate the feast of harvest with the first fruits of the crops you sow into the field. 

It was a time of praying

It was a time of remembering

It was a time of praising God. 

Feeling left out:

In the United States millions of Christians celebrate Christmas, Easter, New Years, and Fall Harvest. Israelites celebrate leaving Egypt and others celebrate the passing from death to life through the birth and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Lastly if you understand all these celebrations and feast I hope that every year you enjoy them all. I am sure that God truly enjoys a festival and a celebration.
