 (The Priests)

The Hebrew word for priest is Kohen, it has come down to us as the surname Cohen. Its source is uncertain, it maybe related to a Hebrew word that means to STAND, for it was customary for the priests  to stand before God. 

1. It took seven days to ordain a priest
2. they sacrifice a bull each day as a sin offering to make atonement. 
3. They made atonement for the alter
4. They consecrated the alter
5. Then it was called Holy and ready for the Lord's use.
