Happy Tuesday!
A place for God to dwell among the people.
(The Priests)
The Hebrew word for priest is Kohen, it has come down to us as the surname Cohen. Its source is uncertain, it maybe related to a Hebrew word that means to STAND, for it was customary for the priests to stand before God.
- It took seven days to ordain a priest
- they sacrifice a bull each day as a sin offering to make atonement.
- They made atonement for the alter
- They consecrated the alter
- Then it was called Holy and ready for the Lord's use.
Have a great day!
