 God with Us

Happy Wednesday

Help, LORD, for no one is faithful anymore; those who are loyal have vanished from the human race.  Everyone lies to their neighbor; they flatter with their lips but harbor deception in their hearts.  May the LORD silence all flattering lips and every boastful tongue—  those who say, “By our tongues we will prevail; our own lips will defend us—who is lord over us?”  “Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan, I will now arise,” says the LORD. “I will protect them from those who malign them.”  And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times.  You, LORD, will keep the needy safe and will protect us forever from the wicked,  who freely strut about when what is vile is honored by the human race.

King David has two positions (in his writing). He speaks from a human perspective. He also speak God's words. It's all going on in his soul. In the writing it maybe hard to capture but remember Jesus Christ was the son of man and the son of God. You can constantly see a switching back and forth in his writing. Sometimes in our nature we can be strong as an metal tower and as weak as a dove. Not bi bolar but more of a battle between the soul and the spirit. What we think and what we know.

Who will win....

His personality (Jesus Christ)

The Lion and the Lamb

The Alpha and Omega

The Lamb that was slain

The King on the Throne

It would be nice if everything on the earth was perfect. But Life is not perfect. It would be nice if people were perfect. Picture how the day would go. It would be sunny and blue skies. Guess what? That's too easy. It is filled with little things that get under the skin and its our nature to want everything to go well. The imperfections of life teach us patience, long suffering, kindness, and about love. Mr. King David is learning in this passage. He is being strengthen even though it seems like he is weak. (What God is doing)

Matthew 8

The Faith of the Centurion

When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. Lord, he said, my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.

Jesus said to him, "Shall I come and heal him?

The centurion replied, Lord I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word...

Say the Word of God.

David said, God says.... he will arise.  God will arise. That becomes his faith. His stance. His spirit is ruling.

When  you speak take on the position from the word of God.

Say what you know to be true about God.

God will arise.

God will help.

God is with me.

I can make it through this. I will do what I need to do.

Have a blessed day!
