 God with Us

Happy Monday

Psalms 24

Lift up your head. There is some good news in Psalms 24.

The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?

4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

5 He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

Lift up your heads

The earth belongs to the Lord and all the people that dwell in it. But it goes on to say only those with clean hands and a clean heart with dwell closely with God or go into his holy place. Even though God is with us not everyone has a holy and intimate relationship with him. Or dwell with him.

A person with clean hands and a pure heart will:

(have that relationship with him like King David had)

MATTHEW CONT...

Behold, a sower went forth to sow; and when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fouls came and devoured them up,

Some fell upon stony places, wherein they had not much earth; and forth when they sprug up, because they had no deepness of earth.

And when the sun was up; they were sorched;

and because they had no root, they, they withered away.

And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprug up, and choked them: but other

fell into good ground, and brought fourth fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixty, and 30 fold.

In Matthew the Lord references:

Words and the heart

Fruit and trees

Some produce more than others

Some was choked out

Some was scorched

Some withered away

Some was devoured by the birds of the air.

Have a great day!
