 God With Us

Happy Tuesday!

God sets the Light in darkness!

If it is daylight, there is no need for a light. 
The Light serves its purpose in darkness.

God makes us a light that he sets on high. 

Why do Christians experience tough situations? Do you believe that God wants us to be a light? The Pharisees were not easy people to handle but the Lord was a light. Easier said than done. 

Psalms 48 

(A Song and Psalm for the sons of Korah.) Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.

Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

God is known in her palaces for a refuge.

For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.

They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away.

Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.

Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.

As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it forever. Selah.

We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.

According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.

Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.

Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.

Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.

For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

He said to them, “Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed? Instead, don’t you put it on its stand?

Then Jesus asked them, “Would anyone light a lamp and then put it under a basket or under a bed? Of course not! A lamp is placed on a stand, where its light will shine.

And he said to them, “Is a lamp brought in to be put under a basket, or under a bed, and not on a stand?

THE LIGHT SHINES IN DARKNESS

When you shine and God sets you on a stand to light up a room some get mad others are glad. 

Along with people that love him.

There were people who challenged him (Pharisees)

There were those that followed him (Disciples)

You are a light.

You are on display.

We will always encounter all types of people. Good and bad. Rain and sunshine.
