God With Us
Blessed Sunday to you!
Do the things that make you happy!
Say the things that make you happy!
Remember the things that make you happy!
Psalms 67
For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A psalm. A song.
1 May God be gracious to us and bless us
and make his face shine on us
2 so that your ways may be known on earth,
your salvation among all nations.
3 May the peoples praise you, God;
may all the peoples praise you.
4 May the nations be glad and sing for joy,
for you rule the peoples with equity
and guide the nations of the earth.
5 May the peoples praise you, God;
may all the peoples praise you.
6 The land yields its harvest;
God, our God, blesses us.
7 May God bless us still,
so that all the ends of the earth will fear him.
THE VERB MAY
May is a verb but it is not a commanding word; but it is more contingent on something else
it is used to express possibility):
For example; It may rain.
(used to express opportunity or permission):
You may enter.
(used to express contingency, especially in clauses indicating condition, concession, purpose, result, etc.):
ACCEPT HIM
LOVE HIM
BELIEVE IN HIM
BELIEVE IN HIS ABILITIES
TRUST IN HIS LOVE
SUBMIT TO HIS INSTRUCTIONS
Luke Cont....
Jesus Rejected at Nazareth
Jesus told them, "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom
for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."
Have a beautiful day!
