 God With Us

Happy Tuesday!

True forgiveness is not picking it up anymore. 

Psalms 69: 34-36

34 Let heaven and earth praise him,

    the seas and all that move in them,

35 for God will save Zion

    and rebuild the cities of Judah.

Then people will settle there and possess it;

36     the children of his servants will inherit it,

    and those who love his name will dwell there.

God and forgiveness

He calls them to him. He eats with them. 

The opportunity to repent.

Jesus Calls Levi and Eats With Sinners

Then Levi had a great banquet for Jesus at his house, and a large crowd of tax collectors and others were eating with them. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law who belonged to their sect complained to his disciples, "Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?

Jesus answered them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." 

He gives them the opportunity to change and repent.
