Fun Summer Activities

I wanted to share some fun SUMMER activities for the Youth.

Title: Keeping a Journal

Cultural arts and Education--by keeping personal records and increasing writing skills.

Spiritual Awareness: By writing about their own spiritual experiences and feelings. 

1. Keep a journal

2. the important of mission journals

3. include feelings and facts

4. explain the different functions of a journal and a scrap book

What did others say about Jesus?

 TELL everybody. TEXT everybody. SHOUT it on the mountain top. TELL a foe. 

God is good. People are not so good. 

You can talk about me but what do you gain? 

You can talk about yourself, and you might gain a friend!

But if you talk about the goodness of God, you bless others. 

And our conversation is pleasing in his sight. 

 

Matthew Chapter 3

John the Baptist Prepares the Way

3 In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea 2 and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” 3 This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah:

“A voice of one calling in the wilderness,

‘Prepare the way for the Lord,

    make straight paths for him.

4 John’s clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey. 5 People went out to him from Jerusalem and all Judea and the whole region of the Jordan. 6 Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.

Before the Lord came John prepared the way....

We do the same thing when we speak good words to those around us. 

We prepare them for Jesus to do things in their life. We show the world 🌎 what we believe just by the way we talk. John spent his time preaching the good News. 

Go tell it on the mountain 

Over the hills

and everywhere
