God Is Good
Happy Tuesday!
God Is gracious!
The opposite of grace would be behaviors such as persecution; and or the desire to control others. It is pushing your views onto them. You want to make them do what you want. It is oppressive because most of the time it is unwanted behavior by another person who has a free will. Sometimes even non believers can experience hate. We know that the Lord and his followers experience persecutions. A non gracious person can be one who confesses God but they lack the holy spirit of God. They do the work of the evil one justifying wrong behavior, words, and actions.
To anyone who Justify Persecution!
"John Wesley gave the following advice: Condemn no man for not thinking as you think: Let every one enjoy the full and free liberty of thinking for himself: Let every man use his own judgement, since very man must give an account of himself to God."
THE DIVINE CURE FOR THE BIGOT
What divine percepts received and obeyed would do away with all oppression and persecution?
"Thou shalt love they neighbor as thyself." Matthew 22:39. "All things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even to them. "
Matthew 7:12
What do love not do?
"Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is fulfilling of the law." Romans 13:10
The Roman Church long ago
Protestants against persecution were declared heretics
"In the eye of the Roman church protestants are heretics pure and simple: The name of Jesus offended them. They did not do wrong in his name but they believe in the name. There was an persecution because of it.
If the name of Jesus or anything done in his name (because we do only what he did) it is a curse to add to the bible the curse is at the end of revelations. It says to any man that adds to the bible or take away let him be accursed. If you are persecuting in his name. You have strayed away from the truth. That person is creating new things that Jesus never did or said. But to do what he did....is all we can do anything else is from the evil one. So if his name (his authority) is offensiveness then it is just a person being offended by truth. Persecution comes next. A person who lacks GRACE. Most times can be a religious person. They have some background in religion. What separates all religions-doing good to others not evil. Jesus is not a religion. The devil desire is for this sect or group to hurt this sect or group only for him to laugh and say he kill them all.
Under what terrible deception did Christ say men would persecute his followers?
"They shall put you out of the synagogues; yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think he doeth God service" John 16:1, 2.
to kill someone is horrific. These men are far beyond the truth. They have no truth.
1. They believe they are doing the will of God but it is nothing more than just pure evil.
How should you treat others who are different than you or believe different? Should we stalk, hurt, harm, exploit them?
When James and John wished to call down fire from heaven to consume the Samaritans who did not receive Christ, what did Christ say to them?
"He turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives but to save them" Luke 9:55, 56
Ending note; I had a male call my phone demanding of me that I should believe and listen to him. The topic of conversation did not matter but when I resisted what he was saying, He told me he could destroy my life. Now we disagreed over something small and he claimed to be from Kentucky. A state I lived in a long time ago. It is a state that has a history of race issues so in the midst of disagreeing and telling him to stop contacting me. He became so angry he threatened me. I told him to never call me back and I pray that he stop trying to destroy others because they simply disagree with him. He was totally off his rocker. He approach, his words, and his sudden desire to destroy me was enough for me to say this man is living his life for the evil one. It happens.
Amen
Have a great day!
