Happy Friday!
Loving your race.
Loving your people.
Loving the ones thats difficult to love.
This might be something that some people will agree with while others may struggle with. But it’s very important if we want to go to heaven.
We must love ourselves. You must love your own race. I am African American and my experience is one of an African American. Yet in America to describe people from Africa they called us black. It was not a term of endearment it was an insult. It came from the Bible. Yes slave owners read the Bible. They twisted it to fit their idea and sin as it relates to slavery. So they used the Bible term light as being good and darkness (black) as being bad. Years upon years we have been programmed to even hate ourselves. How? Negative images and curses. Words spoken again and again and people who believe in those lies. Black is not ugly. It’s not voodoo. It’s a race of people created by God who have had some struggles but we need the image of ourselves as God sees us. So when we look at each we can love ourselves.
Today we can see that sometimes our kids want to be anything but black. Who can blame them. We have not had time to produce a positive African American identity. Our schools have taught curriculum that teaches us you were only slaves. We have had struggles. But we have an identity before America. Please teach your kids. Show them those images. We need to know history but we need the truth too. Or we become caught up in the American identity of darker skin people.
We must avoid the trap of hating each other if we want to see God we must love ourselves. Black Lives Matter. And we better matter to each other. When you hate another black woman or male just because they are black you are having a spirit that has come from slavery that possesses men to hate people. If the behavior of a black person is bad look at what’s around them. Rapper's were the teacher. We must be the role models so our kids have healthy images of dark skin. I never let my daughter call herself black. I told her we are African American. I dislike term nigga. If you use it I believe words held us down. It was cursed. Now we are accusing, cursing, and hurting each other. It's like hate is now among us. We give each other pure hell.
When we hurt each other. It hurts. I have been treated bad by own race of people at times. I know you have too. Some of us is unhealthy but we must love each other. We are a good people we love other races. God sees that. Now other races might hate us but we have never have treated someone like a slave or animal. But we tend to dislike each other. It must change. Believe the best. See us as God sees us. Let's talk about how to love one another like we love others. Prove to each other as well as show ourselves the good. We love those who reject us. We treat them good our issue is loving other African people. Some races need to learn to love African Americans. We all need to love 😍 as God calls. Not all black women are loud etc........all the lies we believe. Then we look at each other based upon the lies we believe. You never MET THE PERSON BUT YOU BELIEVE THE WORST that's hate. That's the slave master spirit. He hated for no reason at all. My beautiful people let's take on the spirit of God. Teach the ones that's struggling.
Smile
Everyone who is dark is not bad. When God spoke of darkness he meant it was impossible to see. Symbolically maybe God knew we would struggle with seeing good in each other at times. We must love each other no matter what and that drives us to help each other as we able too. Some people can help a lot others a little but what can you give?
Don't hate them because of the struggle. Teach them. Lead them. If they bad then lead the way goodie.
Take the time to get to know them. Then we understand the person.
