PERSPECTIVE
The art of drawing solid objects on a two-dimensional surface so as to give the right impression of their height, width, depth, and position in relation to each other when viewed from a particular point.
a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view.
The writer says, "God said....and he saw that it was good." We are seeing from God's perspective. What did God see and how did he feel about it.
The writer begin with the earth. Why not start with the creation of man.....no way.... but he starts with the earth. Today we see evil on the earth. Man claims that the earth is his. How did things become bad if it was good. The writer is clear..everything God created was good. When I read Genesis it just reminds us to keep the perspective that everything God created is good. Is every person good. Yes. When God created them they were Good. But we know what happens. Something happens. When a baby is born they KNOW NOTHING. The two 🎄 trees sit in the garden. One is the knowledge of good and evil the other the tree of life. A baby has to learn something to know anything.
What God tells them .......... is in red.
The Beginning
When did it start.
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
HOVERING____remain in one place in the air. (God flys) He has wings or something. He hoovers. Legs don't hover. God linger in one spot. He has wings. Will we get wings? But he has a body form because we are in his image. Can you image God. Wings hovering. The writer is writing from God's perspective. Who is the writer? Moses is the one historians say wrote it. Moses and Pharaoh seen some amazing things God did. Moses saw the burning bush. It is consistent. It is okay to believe that God showed Moses and he wrote it so we might learn. Moses saw the sea part. God did not do that physical act for others. But God was also showing himself to the people. It was like he was introducing himself to them.
God has wings. The devil was punished he does not fly. Those who died in Christ might get wings to fly. Who knows? But wings are amazing. He grounded man. He limited man to the earth. Men think 🤔 they are bigger than God. Look at God in the sky creating it. Men walking on feet thinking they are God.
The earth was nothing. But he gave it days, and light. The earth is not bad. He said this is good. I like it. It was peaceful.
READING FROM GOD'S PERSPECTIVE MAKES US FEEL SMALL. We are on feet.
Him hovering is consistent because we say God is in the sky. This must be the right thinking and right perspective. Most things in the sky fly.
THE WRITER: Is not focused on himself. He wants us to see from God perspective. It says he hovered over the earth. God size is pretty big. He can see the entire earth. He must be pretty big in size. Why do I say that.....if I stay consistent with the perspective of the writer. He sees everything. And from all angles. The earth is a circle ⭕. God sees the entire thing. He didn't get in the sea. He was in the air and the only thing to keep him in the air is his wings.
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
People say, he said the light was good but not the darkness. Remember darkness was already there. It was just nothing. If you remove the sun it's dark. But people use this to support race separation. He added the light and then he said it was good. He kept the night also. It existed first. It was already there. We have day and night. He is not referring to skin color but some people think that. But the darkness was not bad. It was just there. So if you to create a theory based on light and dark God never said darknesswas bad. There was simply no light. The darkness existed and he added the light. And we have day and night. And not just night.
6 And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” 7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.
For those that use light and dark referrs to race. They have to be wrong because he separated the sky from the water. Racism has nothing to do with God. Or being a racist. God does not love one race better than another. Skin color comes from climate.
9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. 10 God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.
11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day.
14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. 16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.
20 And God said, “Let the water be with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” 23 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.
24 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
He limits man to the earth only..... man cannot rule the sky. Is that true today. Yes. In comparison to God we are all little.
27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.
31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.
1. God created everything and it was good.
2. It was good. God made it good. We see evil on the earth but God did not create the evil. It's sad. So many issues plague our earth. It is not God's fault.
3. Slavery, killings, stealing.....where did this come from?
4. He created only male and female. We have homosexuality, and gender change. So where did the KNOWLEDGE come from? Why would a man think he's a woman? Why would a woman think she's a man. Why did the devil think he was God?
5. If you are created in GODS IMAGE. You are good. Just the way you came out the womb. No need to change your gender or identity. You insult God to desire to change how he made you. If you hate yourself it's not coming from God. It has a source.
6. You have the good on you. We need help from God today but at the moment everything was good. He created you. Look at the words. He said they are good. How many times do people want to call you bad. But the writer said, God said, it was good.
I know we can go on and on....but do you see God's perspective. It was good.
God blessed them. God will not curse anyone. Let's look for this in other books. He blessed Abraham. He gave him a promise and from him others would be blessed. But God does not tell everyone they are blessed. He said it was...When and who did God blessed. If you are in Christ you are blessed. But we can look for these things. Just a fun reading.
God said.........it was good.
