Only The Strong Survive

Some people believe that marriage is a contract. Others believe it is a love walk. A time to grow and learn what is real love. Others like me believe that marriage and love is a mystery. Some people are still waiting for the perfect person others are trying to make a love life with the person they picked. What fun and joy it is to ponder what is marriage? How can you fall in love with a flawed person and be blind to their shortcomings but once you get married you see and know to much about them so much so its unbearable pressure. Is it possible to remain blind to their faults? Is it possible to focus only on their good side?

The creator of Marriage was God and it is defined as one woman and one man.

Genesis 1:27-28: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.' "

Genesis 2:18–25: “Then the LORD God said, 'It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.' ... So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. And the rib that the LORD God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man."

A Hard thing to do?
Is marriage about serving?
Is it about making another person feel good all the time?
Is it just about (an individual) learning to love another person like God loves his church?
What if they hurt you?
What if they do not return the love?
Is it better to remain single?

Ephesians 5:25-33: “Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, ..."
