Hello Tuesday,
Isaiah ch 14 cont...
A Prophecy Against the Philistines
This prophecy came in the year King Ahaz died:
Do not rejoice, all you Philistines, that the rod that struck you is broken; from the root of the snake will spring up a viper, its fruit will be a darting, venomous serpent, The poorest of the poor will find pasture, and the needy will lie down in safety. But your root I will destroy by famine; it will slay your survivors. Wail, you gate! Howl, you city! Melt away, all you Philistines! A cloud of smoke comes from the north, and there is not a straggler in its ranks. What answer shall be given to the envoys of that nation? The Lord has established Zion, and in her his afflicted people will find refuge.
What is your thoughts on injustice? If you broke the natural law and someone caught you..... he or she will ensure that justice was served. How much more should we respect God and honor his righteousness. If the natural man want justice how much more does God.
The book is filled with hope as well as the harsh reality of sin. Isaiah is a mini bible by it self.

Sayings of the wise cont....
Listen my son, and be wise, and set your heart on the right path: Do not join those who drink to much wine or gorge themselves on meat, for drunkards and gluttons become poor, and drowsiness clothes them in rags.
Have an awesome day!
