Jn 14:13

And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  You may ask me anything in my name, and I will do it. 

The Vine and The Branches

• Jesus is the vine
• The Father is the Gardner
• God cuts off every branch that does not bare fruit
• the branch that does bare fruit he will prune (so it will bare more fruit) If you are growing God will keep pruning you. (NIV the Greek word for prune means clean) Over time we get better and better.

2nd Chronicles 20:22

As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir, and they were defeated.
