Elements of Prayer: 

One element of prayer is praise. NIV Bible

Prayer and Praise Share a connection. Most times we call it praising but you find yourself praying too. When you think its just prayer somehow you end up praising him too. The book of Psalms is a book filled with David's prayer and praises. 

Ps 150:1

Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. 

Mt 11:25-26

At that time Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and Earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children, Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do. 

Ps 136:1

I will praise you Lord, with all my heart; before gods I will sing your praise. 

Php 4:6 

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
