God's People Pray ( conversating with God includes communicating good and bad feelings) 

1 Sam 1:27

Now a man of God came to Eli and asked him, "This is what the Lord says: 'Did I not clearly reveal myself to your ancestors out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priests, 

1 Ki 18:36

Elijah prayed at the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed; "Lord the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command. 

19:4

While he himself went on a days journey into the wilderness, He came to a broombush, sat down under it and prayed that he might die.
