 Topic: Prayer and Praise

Rev 5:13

Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them saying: 

"To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!

Rev 7:12

Saying,

 Amen!

Praise and glory

and wisdom and thanks and honor

and power and strength

be to our God forever and ever. 

Amen!

Jas 3:9

With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God's likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be. Can both fresh water and salt water from the same spring?

We cannot curse people and praise God with the same tongue. We are either praising or not. The person who talks or curses other does not praise. When you bless God and his creatures you are doing what he desires.

Jas 5:13

Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is any happy? Let them sing songs of praise.
