Topic: Prayer and Praise
Happy Friday!
I wanted to use the Farmers harvest season as a way to show an example of there will always be sowing and reaping on the earth.
In summary I discovered that September to early December is the time where farmers get to see the reward of the growing season. Harvest starts in mid-September, and most do not understand all the work that goes into harvest. Making sure that all crops are dry is the most important. This is important for storage reasons. We plant late winter and early spring and harvest this time of year. Harvest or look forward to things you have sowed. What things have you sowed?
What month is harvest time?
Typically harvest season starts late September or early October for those farming and growing crops outside. Before the weather changes and cools as autumn approaches, the crops are cut and collected, ready to be used for cooking and eating. A farmer may sow physical seeds for plants but we can sow a vast of seeds.
Sow Kindness
Sow joy
Sow righteousness
Sow helpfulness
Sow mercy
Sow money
Give gifts and offerings
Reaping season is harvest season. The things you sow return right back to you. Some 40, some 60, and some 100 fold.
GOD WANTED AN OFFERING FROM HIS PEOPLE
This topic causes discomfort to some people.
but today I want to stick to the instructions that God gave Moses in the old testament.
- The Lord tells Moses to tell the Israelites to bring an offering.
- The only ones who needed to give was those who felt their heart being prompt to do it once Moses spoke it. If you are a person who distrust giving because of how others have abuse it then you do not have a prompting in your heart. But if God prompts your heart then you are the one to give. I give and I believe it; and God always prompts my heart. When a person is in need. I feel the prompting. That's God.
