THE NEW COVENANT

Paul's description of the ratification of the New Covenant.

"For when Moses had spoken every percept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book and the people saying....

"This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.😊😊

TODAY

• we hear the word of God. We believe on Christ; and accept him
• WE TAKE COMMUNION 

Why do people fear communion?

 Jesus says do it in Remembrance of him. It is a symbol that represents your understanding and acceptance of the word of God.

The Lord...

this is my body (broken pieces of crackers); which was broken for you. 

Drink the cup (grape juice); this represents the blood that was shed for you. 

We should take communion as a reminder of the covenant that we have with God. It is also saying that we agree and understand his laws but we do not promise to keep his law like the people of old said. We just believe and faith that God is working in us. Next time take communion and have faith.
