God With Us
Happy Wednesday!
Psalms 76
Your name carries your reputation.
Our name represents who we are as well as well as what we are known for. For example, Dr. Martin Luther King is well known for his civil rights work and "I have a dream speech."
Well, the name of the Lord is mighty and strong. In his name devil must stop. When we speak and stand on his name and his word the devil knows exactly who you are talking about, and he will stop. Hell knows that name. Jesus is well known and mighty.
Jesus is well known around the Land.
His name is a strong tower.
His name is powerful.
He gives his own the right to do things in his name. His name is his signature, his approval.
King James Bible
God's Name is Great in Israel
1{To the chief Musician on Neginoth, A Psalm or Song of Asaph.}
In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel.
2 In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.
3 There he breaks the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.
4Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.
5The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.
6At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.
7 Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?
8 Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,
9 When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.
10 Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.
11 Vow and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.
12 He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.

The Wise and Foolish Builders
The book of Luke is filled with Teachings of the Lord.
This passage compares and contrasts the difference between a great foundation and a weak one.
"Why do you call me, Lord, Lord; and do not do what I say?
As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like.
They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built, But the one who hears my words and does not put then into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed, and its destruction was complete.
A strong foundation is practicing his teaching.
To practice or put them into actions is protection from the torrent.
Have a great day!
