He gives Good gifts 

Effective Prayer

Matthew 7: 7-10

"Keep on asking, and you will be given what you ask for. Keep on looking, and you will find.

Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened.

For everyone who asks, recieves.

Everyone who seeks finds. 

And the door is opened to everyone who knocks. .

*He mentions a door being opened during prayer.

* He mentions asking.

* He mentions knocking and God answering the door to your knock.

Ever ask a neighbor for something. It is the same idea. When we pray we are knocking on God's door. He wants to answer because he says everyone who asks receives. He will never turn us away but I believe he wants to give us GOOD things. Not the things we think we want. 

His gives his children good gifts.

There's an old lyric to an Aretha franklin song, 

"I'm gonna knock on your door" Tap on your window, Open up baby" 

Well picture yourself knocking on God's door.
