 God Is Good 

Happy Thursday! 

God is gracious

I love good words. I love sharing positive words. 

I dislike words that tear others down. Its time to build up; not because people deserve it but because saying all the bad things about them produces nothing. What happens to you and them. Nothing. But if we speak those good things in good faith with the hopes of bringing it out of the good in that person; we may see good fruit on their trees. Today is Thursday but over the next 2 weeks I will be focusing on God speaks good words over us. He did deal with wicked rulers at times; and it took him a long time to deal with that person. If a person is just not being affected by good things at some point they are choosing to be bad. Then God is just to give them what is due because they have rejected him. This year I wanted to focus on God is Good. Then look at all the good things about him. We are in July and I have touched all the reasons why he is good.

Jesus never met a disease he could not cure, a birth defect he could not reverse, a demon he could not exorcise. But he did meet skeptics he could not convince and sinners he could not convert. Forgiveness of sins requires an act of will on the receiver's part, and some who heard Jesus' strongest words about grace and forgiveness turned away unrepentant.
