Good morning

THY KINGDOM COME

Awesome reading about the Kingdom of Heaven (a system)  (governed by Jesus Christ)

Jesus teach about The Kingdom

The dictionary calls it the domain over which the spiritual sovereignty of God or Christ extends, whether in heaven or on earth.

As you read about the Kingdom write down what you learn.
What does the Lord call it?
Or what does he compare it to.
What is the kingdom to you!
When you have Jesus you have access to his Kingdom.

From the Last Chapter I wrote down:

  1. We have been granted to know the mysteries of the Kingdom (it is definitely a mystery to us) (it may not all make sense but we are given this knowledge from God)
  2. When we hear the words of the Kingdom and donot understand it the evil one comes and snatches away the information.
  3. There is four types of soil (soil represent types of people who are hearing the word of the Kingdom)
  4. The good soil will produce fruit. Some 30, some 60, and others 100.
  5. The Kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in a field. But while the owner was sleeping the enemy sowed weeds that resemble the wheat. (the field is the earth and the wheat and weeds represent people) (God is the man) (It is a mystery)
  6. The Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed it is the smallest seed but it grows up the biggest (people even today think of the bible as the lesser thing or maybe that it is insignificant but it is the greatest thing on the earth) If planted it grows and becomes so big.
  7. The Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant in search of a fine pearl. (God is looking for pearls among the earth) (worthy is the Lamb and worthy people of the Kingdom (overcomers))
  8. there are many more comparisons. Write it and down and keep the evil one from snatching it away.

Psalms 38

PSALM 38
A Psalm of David; to bring to remembrance.

( A time of discipline)

Lord, do not rebuke me in Your wrath,
Nor discipline me in Your burning anger.
For Your arrows have sunk into me and penetrate deeply,
And Your hand has pressed down on me and greatly disciplined me.
There is no soundness in my flesh because of Your indignation;
There is no health in my bones because of my sin.
For my iniquities have gone over my head [like the waves of a flood];
As a heavy burden they weigh too much for me.
My wounds are loathsome and foul
Because of my foolishness.
I am bent over and greatly bowed down;
I go about mourning all day long.
For my sides are filled with burning,
And there is no health in my flesh.
I am numb and greatly bruised [deadly cold and completely worn out];
I groan because of the disquiet and moaning of my heart.
Lord, all my desire is before You;
And my sighing is not hidden from You.
My heart throbs violently, my strength fails me;
And as for the light of my eyes, even that has also gone from me.
My loved ones and my friends stand aloof from my plague;
And my neighbors stand far away.
Those who seek my life lay snares for me,
And those who seek to injure me threaten mischievous things and destruction;
They devise treachery all the day long.
But I, like a deaf man, do not hear;
I am like a mute man who does not open his mouth.
Yes, I am like a man who does not hear,
In whose mouth are no arguments.
For in You, O Lord, I hope;
You will answer, O Lord my God.
For I pray, “May they not rejoice over me,
Who, when my foot slips, would boast against me.”
For I am ready to fall;
My sorrow is continually before me.
For I do confess my guilt and iniquity;
I am filled with anxiety because of my sin.
But my [numerous] enemies are vigorous and strong,
And those who hate me without cause are many.
They repay evil for good, they attack and try to kill me,
Because I follow what is good.
Do not abandon me, O Lord;
O my God, do not be far from me.
Make haste to help me,
O Lord, my Salvation.

Matthew 14

At that time Herod [Antipas], the tetrarch [who governed a portion of Palestine including Galilee and Perea], heard the reports about Jesus,

and said to his attendants, “This is John the Baptist; he has been raised from the dead, and that is why the miraculous powers are at work in him.”

For Herod had John arrested and bound him and put him in prison [at the fortress of Machaerus, east of the Jordan, to keep him away] because of Herodias, the wife of his brother Philip,

for John had said to him, “It is not lawful (morally right) for you to have her [living with you as your wife].”

Although Herod wished to have him put to death, he feared the people, for they regarded John as a prophet.

But when Herod’s birthday came, [his niece Salome], the daughter of Herodias danced [immodestly] before them and pleased and fascinated Herod,

so much that he promised with an oath to give her whatever she asked.

She, being coached by her mother [Herodias], said, “Give me here on a platter the head of John the Baptist.”

The king was distressed, but because of his oaths, and because of his dinner guests, he ordered it to be given her.

He sent and had John beheaded in the prison.

His head was brought on a platter and given to the girl, and she brought it to her mother [Herodias].

And John’s disciples came and took away the body and buried it. Then they went and told Jesus.

Jesus Feds Five Thousand

When Jesus heard about John, He left there privately in a boat and went to a secluded place. But when the crowds heard of this, they followed Him on foot from the cities.

When He went ashore, He saw a large crowd, and felt [profound] compassion for them and healed their sick.

When evening came, the disciples came to Him and said, “This is an isolated place and the hour is already late; send the crowds away so that they may go into the villages and buy food for themselves.”

But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away; you give them something to eat!”

They replied, “We have nothing here except five loaves and two fish.”

He said, “Bring them here to Me.”

Then He ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass, and He took the five loaves and the two fish and, looking up toward heaven, He blessed and broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people,

and they all ate and were satisfied. They picked up twelve full baskets of the leftover broken pieces.

There were about 5,000 men who ate, besides women and children.
Jesus Walks on the Water

Immediately He directed the disciples to get into the boat and go ahead of Him to the other side [of the Sea of Galilee], while He sent the crowds away.

After He had dismissed the crowds, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. When it was evening, He was there alone.

But the boat [by this time] was already a long distance from land, tossed and battered by the waves; for the wind was against them.

And in the fourth watch of the night (3:00-6:00 a.m.) Jesus came to them, walking on the sea.

When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out in fear.

But immediately He spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I! Do not be afraid!”

Peter replied to Him, “Lord, if it is [really] You, command me to come to You on the water.”

He said, “Come!” So Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus.

But when he saw [the effects of] the wind, he was frightened, and he began to sink, and he cried out, “Lord, save me!”

Immediately Jesus extended His hand and caught him, saying to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.

Then those in the boat worshiped Him [with awe-inspired reverence], saying, “Truly You are the Son of God!”

When they had crossed over [the sea], they went ashore at Gennesaret.

And when the men of that place recognized Him, they sent word throughout all the surrounding district and brought to Him all who were sick;

and they begged Him to let them merely touch the fringe of His robe; and all who touched it were perfectly restored.
