 Topic: Prayer and Praise

Happy Thursday!

He is above the earth.....

Above the ways of man, trials, money, people, evil, wickedness, and all the things we think that is great.

2CH 5:13

The Trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang:

"He is good;

his love endures forever."

6:24-25

When  your people Israel have been defeated by an enemy because they have sinned against you and when they turn back and give praise to your name,  praying and making supplication before you in this temple, then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of your people Israel and bring them back to the land you gave to them and their ancestors.

20:21

After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying,

"Give thanks to the Lord,

for his love endures forever"

29:30

King Hezekiah and his officials ordered the Levites to praise the Lord with the words of David and of Asaph the seer. So they sang praises with gladness and bowed down and worshipped.

When someone is good to us it is honorable to say thank you and appreciate what they have done for us. In a similar way how much more should we adore and praise God. The passage say the singers lifted up their voices unto God. They were not singing about people or themselves or how lucky or unlucky they were but they praised him because of the splendor of his holiness. Praise is not weapon to use against people but it is a place/position that you can dwell and find safety from the enemy. The wicked will not be there nor can they stand in his presence but the righteous is there.

Have an awesome day.
